Patient newsletters
The benefits to your practice
Patient newsletters are a great way to keep in touch with your current patients, and win over potential new ones.
A professionally produced patient newsletter enables you to let patients know your latest practice news – for example about new services you’ve introduced, staff changes, refurbishments, etc. Your patient newsletters can also help educate patients about good oral healthcare.
You benefit from having well-informed patients who are more likely to ask for additional services and are pleased that you make the time and effort to keep them informed.
Making the most of your practice newsletters
As with any investment, you need to ensure you get the best possible return from your patient newsletters. We can offer plenty of suggestions on how to use them effectively.
Many of our clients incorporate the patient newsletter into their appointment recall systems. The patient newsletter is still fresh in the minds of their patients when they visit, and they will often ask about articles that have captured their attention.
Practice newsletters are also ideal for regular mailing campaigns. Blue Horizons can help with these if required. We can even carry out targeted campaigns to new home owners in the area – those who tend to be most in need of a new dentist.
How it works
We like to meet all our clients personally before beginning to work with them – it helps to form the basis of a strong working relationship, and enables us to get to know you and your practice better.
When we meet, we will discuss how much or how little personalised information you would like to include in your practice newsletter; from then on our skilled team will do all the writing and design, before forwarding proofs to you for comment and approval.
Our most popular patient newsletter format is 6-page A5, with up to three pages available for personalisation. However, we can produce your practice newsletters in any size and format you choose. All the general articles are checked for clinical accuracy by an editorial team of practising dentists and the BDHF.
Price
Prices depend on two factors – the patient newsletter format that you choose, and the number of copies that you require. Typically the costs range form 32p to 99p per copy and are exempt from VAT.
Our clients have the benefit of spreading their practice newsletter cost over 12 interst-free monthly instalments, each paid by convenient direct debit.
