Zoe Davitt Managing Director
Zoe's strong commitment to providing our clients with the best possible service, combined with her enviable organisational skills and calm, methodic approach makes her the ideal person to head our company. Zoe is a graduate and has a Diploma in Marketing Communications. She is an active member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) participating in their chartered CPD programme. She has experience in many sectors, including tourism, hotel management, recruitment, dentistry, aesthetic medicine and facilities management. When she's not keeping a close eye on everything at Blue Horizons, she is kept busy looking after her daughter Lauren, but given the chance would love to see more movies and do lots of shopping!
Marcus Davitt Director
Marcus heads up our client-facing part of the business. He spends much of his time meeting and talking with new and current clients, finding out more about their business and their needs and providing creative solutions to help them. He has a strong and diverse background in marketing and advertising. He worked for one of the largest advertising agencies in the South for several years, handling work for a number of major international brands. He has also worked in the recruitment, housing and medical sectors, and has the skills and expertise to apply his knowledge to any sector. Marcus is a complete football fanatic, and is also partial to a round of golf when time and family commitments allow.
Hilary Ford Copywriter
Hilary is our head copywriter, and prides herself on being able to turn her hand to any subject, quickly sorting the wheat from the chaff to provide high quality, reader-friendly text. A former journalist, Hilary has worked in advertising, PR and marketing in Hong Kong and the UK, in sectors including luxury yachts, recruitment, consultancy, accountancy, dentistry and aesthetic medicine. Married with two teenage children, in her spare time she enjoys papercrafting, jewellery making, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Lee Groenewegen Head of Design
Lee heads our design team, and is responsible for all the gorgeous printed items we produce, together with some eye-catching and effective web and e-zine projects. He also enjoys the challenge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) work, and has achieved excellent results for our clients. Lee has previously worked with other agencies, gaining experience in many different fields with many different clients, from small businesses to Blue Chip clients . When not in the office, Lee enjoys running, rowing and cycling, and also spends a lot of time doing DIY. He loves travelling, and hopes to go to Africa on safari in the near future.
Steven Henderson Head of Interactive Services
Steven is our in-house technical expert. He designs and builds our websites, attends to our clients technical needs, and has a real passion for his work. He is a firm believer in producing work that not only looks great, but is also user-friendly and functions well. He has worked both as a designer and developer in many sectors including publishing, gaming, film, dentistry, and medicine. Steven keeps both his creative and technical skills bang up-to-date, and enjoys finding new, workable solutions for our clients. In his spare time, he enjoys music, gaming and travel, and spending time with his wife.
Jo Tippin Client Manager
Jo is our client manager, and co-ordinates all the work we do with our clients, ensuring that everything is done on time and helping our clients with any queries. She began her career in the hotel industry, scooping a prestigious Employee of the Year award, before turning her skills to client management. Her cheery, outgoing nature, combined with her organisational skills and reliability, make her perfectly suited for her job. In her spare time, Jo loves socialising, going to concerts and travelling. She is learning to ski, and keeps fit by going to the gym and regularly running 10K.
